Let me take a moment to rant about something I just don't get. Teams seem to follow the draft point value chart pretty closely, except when it comes to future years. It appears to me from the outside looking in that the team who is accepting the future years picks in order to move down would almost always end up ahead. I think that it is far too easy for a GM/VP/owner psychologically to undervalue that pick in their head because its value isn't immediate. And now for my draft review.Top draft has to go to the Miami Dolphins. Not just because I'm a Die Hard Michigan Wolverines fan, (I found myself rooting for them to make Mario Manningham and then Mike Hart with a late rounder), but because they got the prototype left tackle and a QB rated as pro ready by most scouts. Not only that, but they got a HUGE Defensive End to play opposite the ex-MVP (bet you forgot about him while he danced with the stars!).This leads me to my steal of the draft. I'm Having Cowboy Deja Vu (the first of many posts)

I'm having serious Deja Vu. I remember last year after the draft listening to criticism of the Cowboy's draft strategy. I remember defending it, before I was a member of this site. I remember saying that the Cowboys didn't NEED to draft a Receiver, that while yes, Terry Glenn and T-O aren't the youngest players on the planet, they've both shown terrific production and we were a couple of years away from needing any serious receiver help.
