Hi everybody! My husband Tim and I live in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, but I was born and bred in Cincinnati, Ohio. We moved here over 10 years ago, but I still love my Cincinnati Bengals and the Reds too. I've learned to like the teams in this area - like the Tennessee Volunteers, and the Tennessee Titans - but Cincinnati's teams will always be #1 in my heart.

"It is what it is," -  one of the most common said phrases in the world of sports.  I always thought it was a little overused and never really understood why this phrase was so popular.  But the more I read, watch and form opinions on various subjects, the phrase makes a lot more sense to me and I find it's use more understandable.The most common use of the phrase is found in interviews.  Coaches and players alike use it.  A reporter will stand up and ask a question where the interviewee will most likely make an attempt at a reasonable answer,…
