Really great play just now in the USC/Notre Dame game... 4th and 1 on about the 8 and Booty fakes the QB sneak and instead tosses to the back... great play to fool the ND Defense... results in a first down. Then, Booty just about scores on the next play, then does punch it in by following the center's rear into the end zone. USC looks really good... Booty has started very hot for sure, and the USC WR's are very solid. But, this is all against what looks to be an average Notre Dame secondary. ND needs to generate some offense and must have a TD on this next drive or this one…

Wow, just saw an amazing catch by Chavez to keep the Mets/Cards even at 1... talk about a snowcone, over-the-fence, leaping grab... that's as good as any I've ever seen... amazing robbery. To add to the drama, Randolph had just visited the mound to check on Perez. Wow, gotta love October baseball!

(Re)Fresh Victory for the Orange!

I had lots of family in town this weekend and was unable to plant myself in font of my PC to track the Orange/Cowboys game. And, my wife had me running erands for most of Saturday afternoon, so any chance of keeping up to date on scores was sqashed, right? Wrong. I grabbed her grocery list and my Blackberry 7130 and hit the road. It was about 3:30pm ET when I got started... that was right around 5 minutes through the third and the Orange and Cowboys were exchanging turnovers and scores.
