Watered down National League...DH anyone???

I would just like to get everyones thoughts/opinions on the National vs. American leagues quality. With the limited success in the World Series and the All Star game in the past 15 years, it seems that the once very proud National League has become a "watered down" version of the A.L. With the Yankees and the Red Sox continuing to collect & spend on the best players everyone else in the A.L. has to try and keep pace to compete. It seems that the so called "best" players are lured to the A.L. by these teams and the higher salaries they pay? I know…
