Ok back after a bit of a break from blogging all things soccer, and I've got kind of an obsure thing to talk about today. I just read a truth and rumors article that says landon donovan might be headed to europe. This was the first time i had even heard a whisper about LD to europe and i didnt take it as too much. But then i started reading all the comments from people on the wall that were responding and i became damn near irrate. Well it sure has been a long time since the last blog post but who can blame a guy like me for taking some time to revel in the stunning success of some of my favorite teams. First my beloved manchester united captures the league and european cup double, and barely a month after that the Boston Celtics capture banner number 17! And that, unfortunately, is the cross you bear for rooting for teams like that. Nuthin personal...they just always beat my teams, so obviously I'm bitter. Not to knock Willie or anything, but he really just carried the ball and ground down the clock. He's a great player, but I really don't see any reason Davenport can't do the same thing. Parker is fast, but he didn't break any big runs this year. He ran well when he had a lane, he didn't run well when he didn't. Not too much to him. The offensive line is what will kill this team.
