Last weekend the Terps were destroyed by Florida State 37-3. Fortunately, they were able to make enough of an impression before the game with defensive end recruit Justin Anderson from South Carolina that they received a verbal committement from him on Monday. Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen offered Anderson a scholarship Monday and later that day Anderson called the Terps coach to let them know that he would be coming to College Park next season.
