I just got through watching the Cardinal game this afternoon and was well please to see all of the young players who will be playing in Memphis this year at Triple A. The managment has done a great job in accumulating draft picks from other teams, using their own in building a organization for years to come with young talent.Double A Springfield won the Texas League Championship last year and some of them will play here this season. The Texas League MVP and the Cards top prospect Taveras will be here along with the likes of other top prospects in Wong and Wacha. What else would anybody…

I was at the rink the other night at a CHL minor league hockey game and got to thinking these guys have got to really love what they are doing. Most of these young men are out of college or been release in junior hockey. The travel is brutal maybe playing at home tonight and getting on a team bus and traveling 500 miles to another city to play the next night. I hope for your sake that you are not very hungry on these trips because the meal money is $31 a day. The biggest part of the time you are playing on bad ice and in front of maybe 2000 fans. I read a article the other day in the Post-Dispatch about number 26 of the Cards.He started off by saying that the Cards hadn't reach out to him on a new contract for next season. The man has been there for 5 seasons and one championship ring last year. He won 20 more games than he lost as a Card with a above average ERA. The team was one win away from returning to the fall classic this year but Mr. Mo kick in and the Giants prevail. In the same article numbe 26 your house in ST. I'm glad you feel that way. And, this is great here, but there will always be clowns. There were back when TSN did it too, and they had all this stuff I wrote, and took it all down. Prolly b/c of the trouble makers and goofs, but I was angry all my effort I put into it was washed away. And I put weeks of evvort into blogs, etc.

I am glad you look at it that way, there will always be clowns though. And I remmber when The Sporting News did something like this, I worte tons of stuff, then they all the sudden took it down. I was tankered.

You have people out there who connect you and say they want to be your friend. But I have soon realize that all they are really after is numbers to make themselves look good to others. Swamp Dragon so far is the only person who has connected me back on material I have sent out.

This is a great idea SI came up with giving a lot of us a chance to express our views and ideas on various sports topics. But like everything else we have some clowns, want to be comics, and people who has no idea what they are talking about when they make comments on sports topics.All of the above either needs to be in the society section or comics section upon making their dumb and stupid remarks to each other.
