There is nothing better then Texas football. It's more than a way of life here, it is a religion. Cowboys, Texans, Longhorns, Red Raiders, and Aggies are the big games, but you should see a small town shut down to attend the local high school game. It's a beautiful thing. Basketball is cool, but only during the playoffs. Regular season is boring, it's played a different pace. Playoff basketball should be played like football, as the Suns just learned. Baseball is fun evening out, but I just can't get into it the way all those yankee sportswriters do. I will not watch a draft in any sport, but will check into to see how it came out. The only thing I'll have to do with American Idol is "votefortheworst.com", that is one wasted hour of tv programming. It has now occured to me that I now know where to find all the local village idiots... Just check the throwdown pages. Not only can can these fools not discern the difference between fact and opinion, they can barely read. I would be happy if they could just tell the difference between there and their.

 At the risk of sounding like a Suns or Lakers fan, this series will always have an asterisk and be known as the series won by the refs. Does anyone remember the days when we didn't know the names of referees, and they were in the back ground, hardly even noticed. In this series, Joey Crawford's name was mentioned as much as Phil Jackson's. The rest of the series was called as bad as game 4 was, with blatant no calls, and blatant bad calls. Ok, so game 2 didn't fare to well for the Spurs, but are the Lakers 30 points better? We all know the answer to that. let's just run them side by side.Tim Duncan vs. Golag... come on, edge to SA.Parker vs. Fisher... This is interesting. So the Spurs finish game 7 against a really good Hornets team, and have to fly to LA for game 1 starting in 48 hours. The Airline redirected the Spurs through Minneapolis, where they sat for 6 hours, and didn't arrive in LA until Monday afternoon. So an exhausted Spurs team was putting a whooping on Sterns' beloved Lakers, ruining his chance for a coast to coast championship again, when the last 2 days start to catch up with the Spurs.
