The most hated player in the NHL today, bar none is Sean Avery. Hockey fans, you all know who he is. He is a cocky, yet talented Canadian who is best described as an agitator. He gets under the skin of the opponents first line All Stars and doesn't quit until then end of the game. Actually I take that back, he NEVER stops. If you're a hockey fan, you undoubtablly heard the name Dion Phaneuf mentioned at least once or twice. In case you haven't he is a sophmore Defenseman for the Calgary Flames. After being a Top 10 draft choice, he was said to be a big time upper for the Calgary D. He made his run in the minors, played for Team Canada and quickly made it to the bigs. Well, I gotta admit, this is my first blog ever. What better to start it off with than a big White Sox win over the Yankees. If you haven't noticed yet, I am a huge fan of the Chicago White Sox. I also love hockey, Bears Football, Navy Midshipmen football, the Fighting Irish and boxing. I love hockey fights, tailgating and knowledgable sports fans.
