Today marks the 1 year aniversary of the most fatal school shooting in US history at Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, Virginia. 32 people died 1 year ago at the hands of 1 serial killer who was deemed mentally unstable. Today is about remembering those 32 people but also the story of how as a university the community came together as a family. Virginia Tech couldn't see this coming. This is the 4th of 30 MLB season previews. The Dodgers finished a dissappointing 82-80 which was good for 4th in the NL West. This year the Dodgers improved their team by signing CF Andruw Jones, Japanese pitcher Hiroshi Kuroda, and backup C Gary Bennett. This is the 3rd of a 30 part series previewing this years MLB season Last year the Rockies went on a tear to end the season winnning 21 of 22 before being swept in the World Series by the Boston Red Sox.
