I have notice over the last few years of drafting for Ricky that the guys seem like they were captains or leaders on their team. Also the picking of players that fit the Viking system and style of play. When Hodges was picked I was watching the draft ticker and they said this was a head scratcher. Well after reading he played safety and that what we need in a LB is cover skills. I also see CP in the right situation here to be a super star. Also with Jennings and the coaches showing him what it is to be a pro player and how to represent the team and yourself. Ya think about AP and CP on the field together who you going to cover. This year if and only if Ponder makes the progress he needs to this year with AP being at his prime could be something special. SKOL VIKINGS!!!

I would think you would be winning awards for this!!! Just a view thoughts as it seems like the Vikings have certain players to take advantage of there skills. To run a variety of looks with different packages. For example there seems to always be adjustments at half time or during the game. To keep the other team of guard keep hanging it up. Also with the rotation the Vikings used last year on the D line to keep the players fresh and more effective make a lot of sense. There is now way to have the same energy threw out the hole game and to rotate and run different looks could be a great advantage for our Vikings. I know that might be a lot to do but if some of the players only had to work on there game for when they are in there the Vikings could take advantage of all the personnel they have. With the secondary also keeping them guessing on a tampa 2 or cover look at the snap of the ball. Yes a lot to think about and it seems to be a chess match out there so the Viking should do all they can to keep the other team guessing. SKOL VIKINGS!!!

I would love the see Griffen start and give him an extension now when it might be cheaper and let Brian Robison go. Also would like to see if Michel Mauti can start and grow as the season goes on. Also the O line had 2 new starters and one Johnson at a new position so should be much better this year and added depth. Now with the full back Folton clearing the way and AP Knows he get more yards running behind him and healthy from the start all we need is for Ponder to improve which he should in his 3rd year and the same coaches and system.
