I want to start off with saying that i have nothing agaisnt Michael Phelps. What he did this summer was one of the greatest individual sporting achievements ever. But sometimes sports is greater than just individual accomplishments on the field. Hamilton is one of these cases. After years of being known as such a promising prospect, he almost threw it all away to drugs. He ultimately won the battle through support from his family and his love of baseball. i didnt want to do a throwdown, cuz there is no way to determine who has the best hits and i would have lost it.  but i wanna know who people think is either the best or just their favorite currrent hitter in the nhl.  i gotta go with kyle mclaren.  ive never seen someone finish a check like him.  he closes in on them so fast.  my favorite is his multiple hits on prucha when he flat out laid him out.

The NBA Dress code has been in effect for about two years now, and when it first came out i was indifferent about it.  But now i think it is totally pointless.  First off, what has it prevented.  Sebastian Telfair has had two hadngun incidents, and the whole escapade with his jewelry.  Stephen Jackson shot off his gun iin the parking lot.  The dress code is supposed to move away from the "thug" characters, but does anyone remember the incident at the garden this year?  The one with Nate Robinson and Carmelo?  And Carmelo's stop…
