I could rant about the Eagles and Donovan McNabb going down for the year. I could whine incessantly about the bad luck. It has been a fairly calm Sunday -- thanks to the Eagles not playing until Monday night. And the fact that, like every year, there was no reason to pay attention to the Phillies on the last day of the regular season. I'm sad, I'm embarrassed and I'm bitter. But I'm also used to it. Now that I've had a few hours to simmer (and come down off the ledge) after one of the most horrifying excuses for a quarter-plus of football, I've formulated some thoughts.
