Take your Asterisk and shove it

I have a tip for Major League baseball:take your asterisk and shove it!!!!! The MLB should either let it stand when Bonds breaks it or Wipe it out but NO ASTERISKS. An asterisk wont make the next potential record breaker think twice about taking steroids if they are considering it. Also nobody remembers an asterisk: Roger Maris's record had an asterisk attached because he failed to break the record in the same number of games Ruth played in but nobody remembers that when they think of his record.
