It is a forgone conclusion that cheating is prevalent in throwdowns. It is disturbing how such a fantastic idea has become completly warped. for instance I will give you two examples that bother me the most. 1, a person started a throwdown that suggested Jim Brown is not one of the top 5 running backs in NFL history and won. 2, while not having to do with sports at all but proof that the system is faulty, a person stated that Bruce Springsteen is the best rock and roll musician ever. While watching the Cavs VS. Pistons series I could not for the life of me figure out why Rasheed is such an upset person. Every time there is a foul called on him or any of his teamates, he blows up like there is someone out to get him... My initial asumption.. paranoia from frequent marijuana use. Really? So if the OLBs cover so much, why are they the main pass rushers? On a 3-4 D, the pressure men are your outside linebackers, not your defensive line. Sure, anyone can blitz, but 95 plays out of one hundred, an outside LB will rush. Also, since when are D-linemen the only ones constant in the rush? If you knew as much about schemes as you claimed, you'd know about something called the zone blitz. Try Pittsburgh, for example. A 3-4 team running the zone blitz that frequently drops a lineman into coverage. So stop your BSing... how often do teams blitz corners and safeties? In the typical game, you'll get maybe 2 combined blitzes from members of the secondary. Then again, your statement about the OLBs covering TEs on passing downs is partially true, as about 99.9% of the time on passing downs, teams go to a nickel defense with a 4 man line. P.S. If you could read, you'd realize I said Jones sucked, but then corrected myself. I merely said he wasn't great.

Ha! I baited you right into that one and you fell right for it. Yes, the D-line is key to pass defense in a 4-3 defense... too bad the Browns run a 3-4. The D-line's secondary task is to get pressure. The prime goal is to stuff the run. If a 3-4 D-line has 10 sacks combined on the season, they've done fairly well. It is the OUTSIDE LINEBACKERS, not the D-line, who are supposed to bring the pressure. I can't believe you are actually dumb enough to have fallen into that one. How does it feel now, being tricked into a dumb statement by a 14 year old? Now I'm sure you'll deny me all you can, but the Cowboys had a terrible D-line last year at getting pressure, and they still were pretty darn good on D... good enough for 13-3. Ummm... what are you talking about? The Browns' defensive line has little to do with a poor pass defense. I mean, in Cleveland, the D-line has almost no impact on the passing D. As for Sean Jones... so what? Stats aren't everything man. You think Roy Williams is a 5 time Pro Bowler who had 2 INTs and over 100 tackles last year because he can play? He CAN'T! Roy sucks, but his numbers are always good. It is a system thing. In many defenses, one of the safeties is usually used as more of a playmaker near the LoS, which brings in increased INTs and tackles. Hell, two years ago Roy had 5 picks but he was burnt deep so frequently it was sad. Numbers mean little for safeties
