My screen name is an homage to the Original Papi, Edgar Martinez (thats right Red Sox Fans... what you have is a knock off). I cannot stand the Mariners GM and truly believe he is still on the Angels Payroll. I will always have Strong opinions like this about my teams... and about everyone else's team for that matter.

I have lived in Oregon my entire life, and I wont even try to claim to be an NBA Fan. For god sakes I root for two teams in the same division (well, I did). The Blazers and Sonics have provided me with some very good moments, for not being a Basketball fan. Today I am left with an empty feeling when I think about Basketball... more than usual. I guess this is what I get for expecting anything to be a done deal before the players are actually wearing thier new uniforms. Especially when you have Bill Bavasi, the Mariners GM and Peter Angelos, the Orioles Owner trying to work together. What exactly is the problem here? The proposed trade of the Orioles Erik Bedard to the Mariners for Adam Jones, George Sherrill, Chris Tillman and a potential 4th player has been stalled because... well... I have no idea.  Yes, Mariner fans I know, Bill Bavasi is an idiot. For trading Rafeal Soriano for Horacio Ramirez...a.k.a. HoRam... he should have been immediatly run out of town. With this latest trade, which appears imminent, we are going to say goodbye to one of the best prospects we have had for some time and the setup man who was so valuble to our bullpen last year.
