The Thrashers will not be offering veteran Keith Tkachuk a contract before July 1, when he hits the open market as an unrestricted free agent, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. With Keith Tkachuk being a former Blue I'd love to see him re-sign with St. Louis, but I seriously doubt they could afford to re-sign him. A more intriguing thought would be if he signed with Boston. He is a MA native after all, so it would make sense that he would consider it at least. The bigger question is would the Bruins pursue him or will they continue with their cheap ways of old?
