I've seen a lot of things in my 29 years happen that I never thought I'd see. But the one thing that I've never seen and never expected to see is the Cubs winning the World Series. But you only get to have a 100th anniversary once and everyone knows it. The Cubs players and management know it, the fans know it, other teams know it, analysts know it. You know who else knows it? Right now this is a hypothetical question that I am too biased to answer. I'm a Bears season ticket holder who is a mark for Brett Favre. I would love to see this happen. I think Favre would like it here and the city would like him a lot. Getting Favre would also be an incredible long term investment for 1 or 2 back up quarterbacks to learn and get a lot better. So I need to hear from the football fanatics and strategists about how good that team could be. How would the legitimate threats of the NFL fair against such a team?

This year is the cycle of leap year, summer olympics and presidential election. I'm already looking to the next cycle, 2 years from now, the world cup, and the mother of all NBA free agencies. That summer there is going to be round the clock speculation and drama the entire offseason. It's going to be like a draft of the existing NBA talent roster.
