Well, Bedlam is over and it is just beginning. Disney/ABC/SECPN could not wait to get Mack Brown on during the game to politic for his team. His argument is head-to-head, automatically ignoring the fact that Texas Tech can make the same argument.It was stated on SECPN and CBSEC during all telecast games that the Big 12 is the only conference that uses this as a tiebreaker. The SEC has this as a tiebreaker also. They have a stipulation that if there is another team from the same division within 5 spots in the ranking, then it goes back to head-to-head. Anyone that knows me knows how I feel about NY teams. They also know that while I am a Raider fan, and modestly cheer for the Jaguars, I also root for the Pats. I just like they way they run their franchise. Sue me. That being said, that was one of the greatest Super Bowls I have ever seen. One tightly played game between very deserving teams.
