Oh, it was beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Finally, someone arose who was not too timid in the presence (well, on the phone anyway) of Floyd "Money" Mayweather to tell him everything he didn't want to hear. And after eight scintillating minutes, Rugged Man felled the greatest paper champion this side of Xerox.
There was plenty of shouting, profanity, name calling, and relatively none of the peek-a-boo style defense that makes Floyd so impressive and boring to watch at the same time. (hear it all on YouYube)

Why are big schools avoiding Boise State when Boise has offered to travel to any stadium in the country to play anyone who's willing? This almost reminds me of when the owner of legendary racehorse War Admiral kept refusing overtures for a match race with Seabiscuit back in the day.

That's right, no misprint. Florida football coach Urban Meyer scored one of the greatest victories of his tenure this week for his criticism of league officials following his team's victory over Georgia.
Well, hold on, you say. Didn't he get fined $30,000 for those comments? Doesn't sound like much of a win on the surface. In fact, sounds like the SEC means business when it says it won't tolerate any criticism of its officiating crews.

Thanks for the friend invite. I did box novice and should have continued. I finished with a record of 42-2, but basketball attracted more girls and plus the lure of the streets almost did me in. Tell your Dad I said "thank you", I always appreciate the men and women of the Armed Forces (of course, I favor former Marines more, lol) that came before me. Glad to have you as a friend.
