After the embarrasing spectacle of the 3 game sweep this week at Yankee stadium, I've come to a sad conclusion. Since the All Star break, I've had the uneasy feeling that something's not quite right with the 2007 Red Sox. Sure they've got the best record in baseball (for now), but something's missing. I've finally figured out what's they're lacking. Simply put, this team has no heart. No fire. ( only 2 come-from-behind victories all season ) To not even win one game out of three from the team that's been chasing them most of the season is inexcusable. Can…

Here's what I think of the 4 game losing streak & crappy recent performances:I think the pitifully low batting averages of Coco, JD Drew, Lugo, Willie Mo, & Hinske have finally caught up with them.It's not realistic to rely on Youk & Lowell to drive in the bulk of the runs on a daily basis. JD's performance at the plate has been especially disappointing. I hope they don't have another over-rated National Leaguer on their hands. (see Edgar Renteria).
