Baseball needs an extra Ump!

One of the most obvious issues in baseball of late has been the umps getting the calls wrong. I hear and see people typing and talking about how video replay will slow the game down even more. Well have I got a suggestion for you! I say add an ump to the game, not on the field (that wouldn't do any good), add him to a video booth where he has the same access to footage that the media has available so he can get the call right. Plaxico Burress was late for team meetings. Plaxico was selfish at times and hard to deal with says the Giants. Plaxico is a star receiver who let down New York less than a year after he became a hero. Plaxico was a marked man even before he accidentally shot himself. Mayor Bloomberg wanted the people of New York City to know, professional athletes will be held to a higher standard.

Pats Fan, not so much Hobbs

I was born in MA so don't give me the bandwagon comments. I have watched every game for the past 10 years and yes I am proud of the things the Pats have done. I have a problem with Mr. Ellis Hobbs as a player and as a professional. He is all about the "team" right up until they talk about him as a player. Things he does right it's all about him, things he does wrong, the team could have done better. The reason Hobbs got 237 yards on punt returns is because the Dolphins scored so many times!!!!
