The 500th home run is a mystical number in sports. If you hit 500 home runs in baseball, you are considered a legend. But that is not becoming the case anymore. If you used to hit 500 home runs, you be automatically enshirned in the Hall of Fame. That is also not becoming the case anymore. Could this be the start of something special for the New York Yankees? They have won 10-1 in their last 11 games and made up 6 games in two weeks on the Red Sox. They also are now just 3 games back in the Wild Card. But can they keep it up? You have to remember, after the offense got off to a scorching start in April, they slowed down severely in May. Ratings are low. No one cares. The NBA is in trouble if it cannot get fans to watch its most important rising star, LeBron James. But you know what?
