Michel Salgado said goodbye to the press today. And will say good bye at the end of the month to the Madridistas in the Trofeo Bernabeau game against AC Milan after playing 10 years for Real Madrid. A tenure much longer than Beckham, Ronaldo, and Zidane's.
Michel Salgado is certainly one of the important players Real Madrid has had in the past decade. He was in the glorious teams in the beginning of the decade, stayed through the team in the shadows of the galactico era in the middle of the decade, and remained loyal to the team in the latter part of this decade. So after these set of games this week, we'll be half-way through CONCACAF. Here's a bit of what's going to happen. Because of the US's participation in the Confederations Cup, the US games have been pushed ahead. So we're delighted to give our full attention to Costa Rica - USA in the Saprissa Stadium. USA has never won in Saprissa. In fact, Costa Rica has the best run in home form in Concacaf. Costa Rica has been playing pragmatic and discipline football. Chaco in Central America

Long time no see. Its big Chaco and I've been travelling. I started in Mexico City and made my way south. Now I'm in El Salvador and will be at the Estadio Cuscatlan for the game against T&T. I've been in a couple countries and there's excitement for the upcoming hexagonal. here are my observations. MEXICO -- So I arrived in Mexico City a month ago and I was shock by the subtle resignation the Mexican press has about the game.
