I am no longer a fan of the Minnesota Vikings.
And for me, that says a lot. There is no bigger football fan than me, and the Vikings are my team. Were my team (still getting used to this). I went to games at Met Stadium as a toddler, wrapped in a snowmobile suit, and drinking coffee to keep warm. I have been a Vikings fan, even though I have no real memory of their Super Bowl years (I was 4 during their last trip). Where I'm coming from. I'm a Vikings fan who lived in WI during the GB SB yrs, and Chicago after that. I've spent my whole life living in the NFC North, dating back to when it was the NFC Central (before the Buccaneers became an NFL franchise in '76). I've seen Brett at his best and worst. and rooted against him all the time, while respecting his competitive nature, but not necessarily his reputation as one of the best QB (of this generation or ever). Boy, Favre sure used that "leverage" to his advantage, didn't he? Got himself traded to an also ran with zero chance of competing for a division title and little chance of the playoffs. Pretty much what I said would happen if he forced the Packers hand.

i also hate the east coast bias very much, and half the time I talk about it nobody knows what I'm talking about...gets me angry sometimes how theyre always like Yankees. Red Sox. Yanks. Sox. Pats. Tom Brady? Yanks. Nobody else seems to notice!
