Lisa Horne

Contracted writer for FOXSports.com. I live for football. Just pretend I am one of the guys around here. I love diagramming Xs and Os and my biggest thrill so far was doing live commentary for the Super Bowl this year on MSN.com. (I am much more comfortable with college football, however). Favorite teams are USC Trojans and Boston Celtics. NASCAR (go Smoke!) fills the depressing part of the year between February and late August. From the last week of August to the middle of January, I'm in seventh heaven.

After going to last week's UCLA Spring Game, I can tell the progress made in both camps was noticeable. For USC, it was extremely positive, for UCLA, it was quite the opposite. USC The quarterback situation is a huge bonus...I'm sure the Bruins are envious. Sanchez, except for one mis-fire on a flea-flicker, looked terrific. He was accurate, poised and showed great leadership in the huddle. He's also very big and strong. Aaron Corp  also made his case as to why he should be the second stringer, and coupled with Mitch Mustains' whiney antics, "I didn't…

Coming to you soon, a grid-lock of train wrecks that not even Superman could stop. Chad Johnson wants to bail on the Cincy Bengals, and frankly, do you blame him? The Bengals are just one quarterback knee injury away from becoming a complete, flaming ball-of-fire train wreck. Their quarterback reserves are from Harvard, UTEP, and Nevada. Oh yeah, it's coming. Since Chris Henry decided that life was more fun off the field, the Bengals' list of serious talent has been reduced to a Heisman-winning quarterback and a wide receiver whose name nobody can spell correctly. Ohio is going…

Chris Henry, of course, is an idiot. A complete idiot. The Cincinnati Bengals are even bigger idiots for taking a chance on him. His scouting report described him, in a thinly-veiled way, as being undisciplined and having a poor work ethic. And he got drafted anyway. But I am starting to wonder what all of his fans are thinking right now. Do you feel cheated? Or are you angry at the Bengals for releasing him? Does he deserve another chance if he beats this latest charge? Is he even from planet Earth? (it would explain why he doesn't understand the laws of this land)Henry has been a problem…
