Detroit Lions: Matthew Stafford, QB, Georgia Stafford has the type of arm that scouts drool over. His accuracy is decent. A few minor corrections in his throwing mechanics can easily fix some minor accuracy issues. Obviously the Lions need a QB but to throw a young QB in this type of situation may be dangerous. However I do not see the Lions picking up a McNabb, Quinn, etc... in the off season. So they go with Stafford and hope he pans out like the Falcons Matt Ryan has this year. Dominic Rhodes (Raiders)- Traded from the Colts because of the emergence of Addai, I dont see Rhodes ever regaining what he was in 2001. Although the Raiders may look to him as a main weapon because of their suspect passing game I do not think he will be anything special. Shaun Alexander (Seahawks)- Last year was difficult for him because of his injury (Madden Curse) but I do not think he will bounce back this year as the elite back he has been in the past. Cedric Benson (Bears)- With Thomas Jones out of theway, the road is more than paved for Cedric to step into the spotlight. Only thing that could hurt him is the lack of the passing game. Jerious Norwood (Falcons)- If Harrington cant get it done in passing game Norwood and Dunn are all they have to rely on to score.
