I am a 41 year old former soldier. I retired 2 years ago after my last tour in Iraq. I am happy to be settled and back to watching Baseball. Sometimes you deploy so much you forget about your passions. I was Born in Southie and raised in San Diego, I am a home town fan, which means where ever I live that team becomes my favorite. I know that those who understand where southie is will be a little miffed at me. I will always have love for the sox and hate in my heart for the Yanks. I want those Yank fans to understand that I respect your players they are great. Derrik Jeter is an instant hall of famer, but haveing been born in Boston you must understand that it is in the blood to hate the Yankees. Just as you all hate the Sox. See ya at the game.
