I'm a huge fan of college football and hockey. I like pro football although I'd much rather watch college football. If it hasn't already been made clear I love hockey and follow it pretty passsionately. So yeah with that said I'm a huge fan of Boston College sports teams and the University of Illinois teams also. My family is from Illinois so I root for the Bears for football, the the White Sox for baseball, and the Bulls for basketball. In hockey I've been rooting for the New Jersey Devils since I was 7, and I also support my hometown Caps and the Minnesota Wild, just cause I like the whole organization. I hopefully want to be involved in some way in sports as a future career.

For those of you who didn't watch or hear about the Caps-Canadiens tilt last night, all four of you, Ovechkin scored the nastiest goal in recent memory. Barreled by the defenseman, got hauled down, and put it past Carey Price...while on his back. He is the man and I hope you gets more recognition in the near future.

Late Season College Football Musings

Right now it's about 6 on the thirteenth Saturday of the college football season and I have the live score feeds right now. So I have a few things to say. Right now Washington is tied Washington State 10-10 in the annual Apple Bowl.Washington State came back to tie it. It kinda epitomizes how epically bad their seasons have been yet they're assumingly playing for pride.This emobodies what college football is about, being two of the worst teams out of 120 yet playing your hearts out for the contested rivalry game between these two. First round musings

Yeah so the first round is over and I really have one comment about the 12 defensemen taken in the first 30 picks, and that's dang. Still this year is good for defensemen so that sholdn't be much of a suprise that that many d-men were picked. Though I still am stunned that just less than half of all the players taken are blueliners. I guess time will tell whether that was a good choice. Yeah so other than that I guess nothing really unexpected happened, everybody went where they were generally predicted to go. I can't wait for the rest of the draft tomorrow then.
