My skepticism is on hold. No reason the Mavs shouldn't be in Round 2. They are prepared to show NO how the playoffs are different from the regular season. We have answers and match up well. I wish Avery would throw the "on" switch a bit sooner in the game (he flipped it w/5 mins. left in the 3rd), and just try to dominate for 48. Their most decisive victories happen when J-Ho owns the first half, Terry scores the third quarter and Dirk dominates the fourth. Congratulations to Jason Kidd! You could not have timed your breakout triple-double any better. MFFLs speak out!

I know, the title sounds optimistic. We are skeptical. Nice to win against some quality teams, but what a crappy weekend! Portland and Seattle losses? Suddenly the finale against New Orleans looks like a potential beating, with even more potential to be a GoldenState-like a** whipping like last year! New O has led the division all year, so there would be no shame in losing to them. Paul is simply amazing, and his support is quality.
