I am a Chicago Bears Community Leader on bleacherreport.com My favorite teams are the Chicago Bears, Chicago Bulls, Chicago Blackhawks, and Florida Everblades of the ECHL. I am a die hard fan of the Chicago Bears. I write about the NFL, the NBA, the NHL, MLB, my favorite teams and other relevant topics or anything that sounds interesting. I have met many NBA players in my lifetime. I have met Chris Mullin, Mitch Richmond, Coach K, Rod Higgins, B.J. Armstrong and Byron Russell ( the player on the Utah Jazz who MJ scored against in the NBA finals). I have met two NHL players. I have met Chad Larose of the Carolina Hurricanes and Shane Hnidy of the Boston Bruins. I have met Brandon Phillips and Josh Hamilton when they were playing together on the Cincinnati Reds. The Bears lost 21-14 last night to the Atlanta Falcons and you would think the Falcons played great ball, but they really didn't.
The Bears had a lot of good drives in this game, but had way too many red zone mistakes. Jay Cutler was 2/9 throwing a touchdown and an interception in the red zone. Matt Forte had back to back fumbles at the one yard line, the first one the Bears got back, but the next one the Falcons recovered. The final drive in the game, on a fourth and one, veteran Orlando Pace had a huge false start penalty, which ultimately cost the Bears the game.

Today we'll take a look at former Bears corner back Walt Harris.
Harris was drafted by the Bears back in 1996 in the first round out of Mississippi State. He played six seasons with the Bears (1996-2002), in which he played in 72 games. He made 364 tackles, one sack, 13 interceptions, and forced eight fumbles during that time. Harris was a starter during those six seasons and he was a very talented corner back.
He left the Bears after the 2001-2002 season for Indianapolis, where he appeared in 31 games, making 99 tackles, forcing two fumbles and two interceptions in two seasons. He then…

Could running back Dominic Rhodes be on his way to the Windy City?
With the report that Adrian Peterson is out for two to three weeks with an MCL strain, the Bears could be in the market for a running back. Luckily the Bears have a bye week this week, but they will still have to be worried for the Sunday night match-up against the Falcons in week six. They could go into the game with Wolfe as Matt Forte's primary backup, or they could promote practice squad running back Kahlil Bell or they could sign a running back like Dominic Rhodes off the street.
