So apparently Jim Brown is pissed off that Tiger didn't speak up about the "lynch" comment on the Golf Channel. As an African-American, I don't need Tiger Woods to speak for me. I don't want him to speak for me. It was a stupid, ignorant and inherently racist comment, but I can figure that out on my own; I don't need Tiger or any other famous black person to inform me of that fact. I removed the logo of the Oakland Athletics from my fav team list today. This is the first time in my long life of loving sports that I have officially quit a team. It didn't start with Dan Haren. I swore with Tourette-like fury when they let Giambi walk, but figured the A's front office knew its team a helluva lot better than I did. I tore my hair out when they traded Hudson and Mulder, but the team kept on winning. My friends talked me off a ledge when they go of Miguel Tejada, my favorite player in baseball at the time (juice or no juice.) Team kept on winning, but something began…
