I'm focusing on a lot of strength & conditioning. I've been training with Jake Bonacci for my last 2 fights. I believe it took my game to the next level. I have gained improvement in my cardio and my muscle endurance. Mixed Martial Arts is a sport where you have to use all the muscles in your body and you have to have great cardio. I went to the UFC on Saturday. I'm a fan. I love this sport. Everytime the guys walk to the ring I get goosebumps. Wanderlei Silva coming out and dominating the fight like he did was incredible. I got back in the gym on Monday and got to work out with Takanori Gomi. He used to be the Lightweight champion in PRIDE in Japan. It was fun. Trip to Japan

It was a long flight. Japan is a great place, and the fight promoters treated us professionally. As soon as we got off the plane everything was taken care of. They were on top of everything. When I got there I had bad jet lag so I slept for about 5 hours. When I woke up I helped Mike train. He had to lose a little weight and we went over strategy for the fight.
