If you enjoy college football outside your corner of the country, here are the games for the 2nd week (Sat Sept 12th) you MUST SEE, the games you SHOULD SEE, and the games that might look good but DON'T BOTHER. There are too many interesting matchups between the conferences to list, including the monster game between Ohio State and Southern Cal. Please let me know if you think I missed a game and I'll explain why I left if off the list or add it.

I love summers in western ny...when it isn't raining that is. But when the weather is crap (or if i have a sunburn i could cook bacon on like i do now) I try to pretend to care about baseball, tennis, golf, and think about fall and the start of the best sport in the world...college football. As you can see by my user name, I've been in the Paterno must go camp. Even with the recent success my biggest criticism of Penn State football under Paterno has been the recruiting. How can your head coach not recruit!!? I'm old enough to remember when PSU joined the Big 10 when Paterno was still in the buisness of recruiting and I remember top 10 classes most years, when PSU owned PA and battled with Michigan and Ohio State for the top non-PA recruits in the area every year.
