With the Big East looking more unstable by the minute, UConn and Cincinnati have made it widely known that the two schools want out of their disappearing conference.Unless Maryland is able to exit the ACC without dropping $50M, the ACC looks to be gaining stability with the (for football) addition of Louisville that appeases the likes of vital members Florida State and Clemson, which ultimately makes the Huskies and Bearcats prospects of joining the ACC more and more unlikely.Big 12 sources have stated numerous times that they will not expand to 12 members unless the prospective members add…

After watching Colorado pull off an unexpected, albiet not too surprising, upset over Utah to end the regular season, two thougts crept into my mind.
"Great, now we get to see a 6 and 6 UCLA team play in the first ever Pac-12 Championship game"
"Although, did Colorado winning help this forced rivalry between the two mountain schools move towards becoming a true rivalry, one the fans and players actually care about?"
It's hard to get too excited about playing someone that you tend to beat every year and that your expected by everyone to beat every year. I can't imagine too many Tennessee…

How would you feel if all conferences that play a Championship game matched up the two teams with the best conference records regardless of what division they are in? Looking ahead to next weeks SEC Championship matchup triggered this idea in my head. If South Carolina upsets Auburn, who they almost beat earlier in the year, they will technically finish 6-3 in conference play while Auburn will finish either 7-2 or 8-1 (depending on what happens against Alabama). Auburn would have more SEC wins than South Carolina and a .500 record against them this season. I thought back to the 2005 ACC…
