I am a lifetime LSU and NCAA fan. I believe that there is football season, recruiting season, spring practice, summer conditioning, and back to football season. I also like most other NCAA sports, but the only professional sport I care about is football.

With the start of the new season rolling around, pollsters, fans, and anyone who watches college football has their own opinion about the best team in the NCAA. As sure as everybody has their favorite, there are a million and one arguments for why. The thing that most people do not look at though, especially at the start of the season, is who will be the biggest disappointment. I am writing this blog to go ahead and voice some things prior to the start of the college football season in order to make sure that everyone is on at the same sheet of music for at least the start of the NCAA season. If all fans of all BCS Championship hopeful teams could maintain their grasp of these things, the end of the season, with the BCS Championship Bowl selection and crowning of the National Champion would be a lot easier for all to digest. 1.
