It's finally here...the time has come to crown this year's Champion, both on the ice and with the avatar!

After a long and ardous season, the Match-up many predicted before the season began has materialized. It certainly did not look like it would be a rematch of last year's Finals, but a late surge by the Pens sealed the deal.

Will the Pens be just like the 83-84 Oilers and travel the road to happy destiny after losing in the Finals the year before?

Or will the Pens become, as Roberts#1 has suggested, the Buffalo Bills and Detroit repeats?

Here we are kids, the Conference Finals! The Final Four!
It's been a great Playoff season thus far and thanks to everyone participating, the initial NHL Playoff Avatar Challenge has been a rousing success. Thank You to all.

My thanks to all who participated in Round 1 and to those who have graciously changed their avatars to accomodate the series winners.
