The NFL released the week-by-week 2009 schedule on Tuesday night. We already knew opening weekend offers the defending Super Bowl champion Steelers hosting the Titans on Thursday night, the Bears and Packers renewing their rivalry on Sunday night and the Patriots welcoming Terrell Owens to the AFC East on Monday night.
Now we can analyze the remainder of the 256-game schedule and plan our fall weekends accordingly.

The Braves and Marlins built the anticipation for the All-Star game announcement by playing extra innings after a rain delay (won by the Marlins), but the teams were finally announced late on Sunday afternoon.There were few surprises among the starters, but there are always controversies when it comes to the reserves.
