When the NBA season kicked off, I couldn't be more excited. The Re-Deem Team set the interest level high. This new batch of talented youngsters made it clear that the NBA was no country for old men. Well, it looks as if the Portland Trail Blazers have done it again. Picked another bust. And you know what - the curse of MJ continues. Greg Odom. The age-ful rookie who many thought would come in to this year dominating with LeBron like presence, played for 2 minutes before hurting his foot. All signs of fragility surrounded this giant sized prodigy and no one headed the warning because the upside was too great.

The fans in Portland could only shake their heads and hold their broken hearts.

As unbelievable as that loss was yesterday, what was more frustrating was the stat that we've never beaten the Houston Texans to date. C'mon, the Texans? Guys this is more outrageous than not going for two yesterday. This is more disgusting than the defense not putting a spy on Matt Schaub was the defense allowing him to complete a pass on fourth a long.
