Today the Mets lost to the Pirates... AGAIN!. Today the Mets starting pitcher (Pedro Martinez) had a lead leaving the game and the bullpen blew the lead... AGAIN! Yet the worlds greatest general manager (from now on will be reffered to as WGGM) swears to god that everything is fine, and no need to worry Mets fans! WGGM feels that it is ok for a bullpen to win hmmm... about 50% of the games that are handed to them and thats why they didn't need to make a move at the trading deadline. Sounds like the WGGM to me too.Mets,

U.S.A. Olympic Soccer Team

Yesterday the U.S.A looked pretty good against a heavily favored Netherlands team. One player in particular shined out and that was Freddy Adu the 18 year old looked simply marvelous and could not be stopped by the Dutch. For the first time in memory the U.S. looks like it has a player that it can rely its World Cup futures upon for years to come.

To all who care: I've been reading about the off-season escapades of premier league team Chelsea lately, and if they can pull of some of the transfers that have been rumored they will be pretty sick next year! Kaka? Robinho? Deco? That sounds like a pretty sick team to me. The only problem is will they pull them off, becuase a lot of times when Chelsea is concerned it seems that fiction outweighs the facts.  CHELSEA?????????
