As an out of touch old school guy, I will admit this may be really unpopular. Then again if popularity was an issue with me then I wouldn't sell cars or have been a cop.
There are not many who can argue that the education system in the United States if not broken, has a lot of problems. The amount of money that a school system gets is directly tied to the tax revenue for that given juristiction. Drugs, Athletes, and Kids

I will admit that i am a 53 yr old white male. I do not know what it was like to grow up poor or disadvantaged. yet I wonder why I don't see black athletes do major anti drug and anti gun ads. It bothers me that street cred is more importent the teaching kids that there are better ways then getting high or shooting people. I have a fourteen yr old ballplayer that is at an impressionable age. So are his friends. Yet here is what I unfortunitly see on a regular bases.NBA players being arrested for marijuana posession.
