Red Sox keep Lester, Lowell, Dice K, Pedroia, and Youkilis.
Red Sox trade Tazawa.
Red Sox sign Bay, Papelbon, Beckett, Green, Saito, Ramirez, Wagner, Lowrie, Martinez (Exercised one year option), Anderson, Gonzalez (Signed with Blue Jays), Woodward, Gathright, Ellsbury, Buchholz, Kottaras (Signed with Brewers), and Okajima if required.

Julio Lugo No Longer Needed by the Red Sox

Should the Red Sox get rid of Julio Lugo?  With the emergence of Jed Lowrie and a capable utility man like Alex Cora there is no room for Lugo.  Lugo has not produced like so many shortstop busts in the recent past and his fielding is awful.  The Red Sox should find a way to trade Lugo in the off-season to bolster their bullpen which is in need of some middle relief help.
