After watching the mets lifeless 5-2 loss to the Seattle Mariners tonight, I thought to myself "What is holding the Mets back from signing Barry Bonds?" Of course it will result in hundreds of media members following Bonds around, but I think thats exactly what the Mets need. Before the firing of manager Willie Randolph, all of the Mets players were constantly asked for their opinion on the whole Randolph situation. When they fired Willie a week ago I thought that would be the end of those type of questions and that the players could just focus on playing the game.…
