I have been a New York Mets fanatic since 1969, when I was 9 years old and growing up in Queens. I am now a Florida resident, and while I will ALWAYS be a Mets fan, I recently decided, if I want to watch baseball down here, I had better pick a local team. Since the Rays are in the American League, and I have a couple of friends who are Rays fans, I went with them. My decision came easier since they dropped the stupid "Devil" out of thier name, AND thier new uniforms make them LOOK like a real baseball team. The new owners have done wonders with this team, and, MAN are they playing…
