There is no question in my mind that the voters(writers) got it wrong on naming Eli Manning as the MVP for Super Bowl XLII. The Giants defense, in their entirety, should have been voted as the MVP and to hell with Cadillac probably wanting to give the vehicle to only one person. Manning did a pretty good job but, shutting down Brady and the dangerous Patriots offense sealed the deal and put Manning and the Giant offense in the driver seat. I am a Cowboy fan so, there is no New York bias. Even CNNSI poll has the defense as the biggest reason for the Giants victory...87%, as of this posting.…
