I am going to make some crazy predictions here based on schedules. Some I might not even like. But first, yesterdays game and the implications of next weeks game! Yesterday was a nail biter. The Panthers were determined to keep me on edge until Beason sealed Green Bay's fate with the interception. Williams missed that 5th straight 100 yard game but finished with 4 TD's to go with the hard fought 72 yards. And "Superman" Smith made two all important and impressive catches. Burned by Turner!!! Atlanta had some amazing play yesterday didn't they? My goodness. Our offense may have showed up late in the second quarter to overcome a 17-0 deficit but with only 10 minutes left to play Turner took a 24-21 lead and blew it wide open! 117 yards and 4, count them 4, touchdowns on the day! I freakin knew it. When San Diego decided to get rid of him and Carolina looked at Turner and Julius Jones, I said, we better sign Turner. Thank goodness for defense right. Peppers had nine sacks in a much better year so far in 2008. He also has five FF this year and 28 solo takes with 6 assists. The panthers running game really got our offense going yesterday too with a franchise record on the ground and two backs with 100 plus yards. Some how though, we still struggled against two sub-par teams the past two weeks. Look for us to be really tested next week in Atlanta with a more experienced Ryan at the helm.
