In response to:Packers shopping Favre to...As the Packers wait to see whether Brett Favre will indeed file his reinstatement papers with the NFL, the club is working its way through a list of teams it sees as potential trading partners for the sort-of-retired quarterback. According to a league source, the teams on that list include the Jets, the Ravens, the Dolphins and the Houston Texans in the AFC and the Panthers, Buccaneers, Falcons and Redskins in the NFC.

WHAT IF: we all have been surrounded by the situation with brett,and the greenbay packers.lets just say that brett just happened to call the vikings staff to have a talk with friends.well some where in those talks they say to brett we really have a good team and could do really well this season.we would really do better if you could play for us.so the top brass at vikings camp would really like to get brett.so brett contacts the packers and says that he wants to come back.the packers have all but said that rogers is their starter.so a riff starts as we all know.yesterday the packers send out feelers about a trade for brett.seeing his worth.there still going with rogers,at this point.so lets say they stick up a deal to trade their star gb,to another team.so the packers are happy some what,same for their fans.well the vikings still want brett,so they talk to the team that got brett and offer a first rounder for him.trade is made.1st:how do packer nation feel now????? 2nd:what does comish do about that with tampering charges brought against gb.3rd:well gb still retire #4 on monday nite football in gb as brett is the starting gb for the vikings?
