Last week, I wrote all the right things before facing Michigan. ND would win by 10 if Tommy Rees found Floyd. I wrote that turnovers would kill them and they should be well aware by now. I even wrote that if Denard stayed in the pocket, ND would dominate but that it'd be best for him...to stay in the pocket.. Denard didn't listen. Michigan came back. ND lost - again. In their season opener this past Saturday, the Fighting
Irish worked hard to assemble all the possible nightmare scenarios that could
happen in a season where losing is not an option. And they delivered - all of them in the same
game! From a fumble at the 1 yard line
on opening drive, to an interception in the offensive end zone, couple with a
few miscues by one of the best kickers in the nation to orchestrate a shocking
loss to a hard working team from South Florida.

In the month of November, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish posted numbers that all fans could only dream of in the last 5 years. 3 wins, one against a then ranked Utah, one against Army and one that marked the end of 8 - sometimes humiliating - showdowns against archenemy USC.
