I check Fannation rarely these days, but I've been jumping on more so in the last week or so. The site hasn't changed much in the past 4 years. Fixes maybe, but no major improvement. Today though I noticed an update to the Fannation logo. They made some small detail changes but most obviously added more emphasis to Sports Illustrated and changed the subtitle from "The Republic of Sports" to "Truth, Rumors, and Video."

I for one am concerned. I think it's a sign of a change of focus, which I'm afraid will finally kill any Fannation.com fans and users left.

MLS Rookies, great sign for the future of the league

It has been my longstanding opinion that soccer in the US will grow slowely and surely. It won't come in an explosion of marketing, but rather as generations grow older and the children who played in on the school field either continue playing the game or at least buy tickets to watch it. Watching this year's MLS season, I'm becoming convinced that we may be at a new beginning of that growth. Why do I think that? US vs Czech Friendly - a good sign for US Soccer

Despite the USMNT's 4-2 loss vs Czech Republic 2 days ago in East Hartford, I think it was a good sign and a great night for US soccer.Sold Out Stadium: I'm an MLS fan in CT and I try to go to as many New England Revolution games as I can. Attendance at such events are typically laughable for a major league sport. Hearing that a stadium 'sold out' for a soccer match at all is a really awesome sign.Higher Ticket Prices: I hate ticket scalping.
