The start of the season there was enthusiasm and promise when it came to the Yanks starting rotation. Seasoned veterans mixed with three novice starters had the fans and media burning to see if the staff could live up to the BIG APPLE buzz. Joba, Hughes, and Ian Kennedy all had great potential; this was something to get excited about. As a yankees we have been bred to expect great things out our hitters and hope the starters will be good enough to hold on.

There comes a time in everyone's life when they have to succumb to the inevitable and face their deepest darkest fears. Right now I am at this particular point. My beloved Yankees have no chance in making the playoffs. The wild card is on the horizon for us to see, but as we walk in the direction and get closer and closer to its perceived position the Red Sox's continue to sit on the horizon.
